Vusi was injured in a motor vehicle accident in 2008, wherein he was a driving when another vehicle, traveling in the same direction, turned in front of him and collided with him. There was nothing he could have done to avoid the collision.
32 year old Vusi was hurt in the accident and sustained a mild traumatic brain injury and a fractured left arm as well as multiple facial scratches. He lost consciousness when the accident happened and only woke up later in the hospital where he stayed for 3 days.
