The North Gauteng High Court recently awarded an impressive settlement of R4,910,023.00 to a client of the esteemed law firm, de Broglio Attorneys. This well-known law firm is respected as being the best law firm that deals with Road Accident Fund (RAF) claims. In this recent settlement, Minki Oosthuizen*was hit from behind and suffered a brain injury, psychological problems and various other injuries. de Broglio Attorneys successfully settled the merits of her claim 100% in her favour and continued to settle the monetary value of her claim at R4,910,023.00. The settlement amount of R4,910,023.00 was finalized in the North Gauteng High Court.
Minki reflected on what happened after the accident, “I actually think I approached de Broglio Attorneys based on the advertising on the TV.” She continued, “We were referred by friends to other attorneys before we went to de Broglio. They looked at the case and because I didn’t have huge hospital bills they said the case would not be worth their while or my while. I suppose if the RAF was more organized and we had already received the payment I would be more ecstatic.”
