The North Gauteng High Court recently heard the tragic case of a young child lost her leg in a motor vehicle accident. Thembi Nkoxi* was a regular child growing up in Soshanguve when tragedy struck in the autumn of 2016. She had been walking along a road in her neighbourhood when she was suddenly hit by a vehicle travelling at a high speed.
